Ken Gregory is a bass fishing guide on Fayette County Lake, and he has agreed to our guidelines for adding his Guide Service info to his signature. This is the link he would like to add http://www.texs.com/guides/display.php?GuideID=697. Since he operates out of a bass boat, he is offering just one of our members a free fishing trip :applause: (There really isn’t room for another person).

I have not cleared this with Ken, but this is what I would like to do. Everyone enjoys a good contest, so I will get a big jar and throw a bunch of my lures into it. I will seal the lid and take pictures of the jar from each side. Whoever gets the closest to the correct number will be the winner.

I will let you know more about the contest after I get the lures in the jug and communicate with the other Admins to make sure I am not getting in trouble again.

No One has complained yet, so I am moving forward. The winner and Ken can then work out the details of the trip.

Details on this contest are still being worked out. We do not have an ending date yet, and I did not count the lures that are in the container. That means I can not help you with numbers.

If I can arrange it, Ken Gregory will be the one opening the container, counting the lures, announcing the winner, and returning all the lures and container to me. NO, the lures are not part of the prize.

Just for you, I have now posted the container without the top to give you a good idea of its contents.

Here is my youngest granddaughte holding the lures.

Not being either, why do you ask? Since I am setting everything up, I think that every member should be eligible to win except me. Will that make you feel a little better?

Ken, are you about ready to end the contest? I have one more picture to post of my granddaughter holding the container, before we quit.

My hope was that you would be able to count the lures and declare the winner. However, I can't deliver the container to Fayette, and I doubt that you are interested in driving to Humble just for this. I will come up with something.

Maybe Lou or Ben can get involved to make sure I don't play any favorites.

Well boys and girls, the contest is over and a winner has been declared. His name is at the bottom after the pictures.

Ken looking at the list of guesses (20 members made a guess). He said he had Photoshopped the open container picture and numbered every lure. He could not win, but his count was 38

WHEN IS THIS CONTEST OVER?

IF this is still going on I want to make a guess of 41 lures in the jar. I need a fishing trip as I have been so busy making repairs to my new house that I missed the spring bass fishing. Just couldn't cut the apron strings and get a day off. However, we did take Sundays off for Church.
