Got Bait ??

BFT and myself were at Conroe one day and saw these guys catching bait. They were catching Minnows. I took a few pics and as they loaded them in the bucket BFT asked if we could take pics of the bait they caught. They said NO. They then loaded up and took off like if we were minnow police.LOL. I have never seen anyone panic and leave that fast cause we asked to take a pic of some minnows.

Is it legal to catch minnows with a seine on Conroe?

As far as I know seining with a "minnow seine" is legal in Texas.

Chances are they probably had some baby crappies, baby LMB's and bluegills in addition to minnows and they kept everything.

When I was growing up in Southern Arkansas we always caught our bait seining. Caught lots of crawdads that way too. Rocky road the cotton mouths and keep on going.

Think your right there fishngrin and Lou. Didn't see them seperate minnows out just put all bait in a bucket.

i should of just taken them bucket and tossed it back into the water and buckle down for some ROCK ROAD. lol how dare them take off with our game fish. :grrr: i'll know next time. Mr. Rod you have my back right buddy?
