The canned items are consumed daily when the fresh plays out. Nita spends a good portion of every day in the garden or preparing and preserving items from it. Never sold but prepared for friends and family. I'm a very blessed person.
Note the fresh mowed section at the top of the garden, that is the expansion for 2011, soon to be tilled and laid by.

The legacy of broccoli:
Nita planted 10 broccoli plants, but they failed to make any shoots. Sister Melba informed Nita that this was collards, things get labeled incorrect at large grower gardens. I was out in the garden a few days ago and noticed the white crowns growing out of the mysterious greens, which turned out to be the cauliflower head shown below.

pretty creative way of lining peppers in the Jars...back in the days of the Incas you would have been picked to be one of the pyramid builders. LOL

In my Inca life, never made it up to a builder, had to mix mortar finally made it up to hand dump truck dirver.
Attended many Inca Pep Rallies.
I'm entering the peppers in the county fair.

Your Inca name had to be "Iron Stomach", cause that is death in some of those jars.

That is awesome. I should Bethany and she wants to speak with you about how to do that. **** culinary majors as with engineers learn just enough to be dangerous.
