Look at the bottom of this link and I think that is your fish. It is a puffer fish.

yes i have caught a puffer before it puffed up and had soft barbs on belly this one didnt do either i was pretty sure it was a puffer just different kind thanks

gator if you'll look at the gills slits and the arrangement of the fins, I believe that it is a type of puffer fish.

Well don't know if anyone knows this about me or not but I've been working offshore for the last 15 years. That there is a Rabbit Fish. You caught it around a structure? They are great eating. Prettiest white meat. Well rabbit fish is what we always called them.

Let me know if you find out its something dofferent.

hope your kidding cause what i have read about puff fish there meat is very good but if prepared wrong death can be cause. kind of like eating those bucket mouths. no really there meat can kill if not prepared correct. i love to eat as you see my picture but not that bad give me catfish or reds any time

Looks like I may have been wrong. I did a search for Rabbit fish and it looks nothing like that one. My bad gator.
