Anybody heard how the fishing is around New Orleans or Grand Isle? I haven't heard much as far as water conditions since the oil spill. I'll be heading that way Monday and will be there for about 9 days workin. Gonna try to get some fishing time in if it looks ok. Thanks is advance.

dadgum, sounds like this job came up at the right time! Can't wait to get out there. Pretty ticked that I'm going to miss opening weekend of deer season, but a good fishin trip might make it a little easier. Thanks for all the responses!

I'll ask Boudreau and Tipidoe about the fishing if I can find them out there in the Louisiana Bayous.

Oil=spotty at best with a slight chance of a slick. NOT. The fishing I hear is great. All my relatives live in Louisiana and they say the fishing is great.
