Cheap Charter/Guide Options?

Me and my buddy are looking to go on a charter out of Galveston to catch some reds. In the interest of saving some cash, we are thinking about going on a party boat in the bay. A friend recently went out on Galveston Party Boats http://www.galvestonpartyboatsinc.com/ for $25 for 4 hours and they ended up catching several reds amongst their group. So, it sounds like a great deal for $25 to take a chance at landing some reds. Has anyone ever gone out on on a deal like this?

Our other option is to pay a guide and I know that it gets pretty pricey. Are there any guides out there that we can book for maybe $200 total plus tip?

We are trying to make the most of our 1 trip/weekend opportunity and don't really want to break the bank.

I dont know of any saltwater guide that cheap....but let me know if you find one! I dont really care much for the party boats.

Ive used the TexsunII many times and the are very good.They always put you on fish.The price is $25 for half dayof jettie fishing.

There's an idea SD! Gary (blowupguide) is a great guide to go fishing with. Works as hard as any guide will to see you catch fish and just a genuinley nice guy to spend a day on the water with.
