Well with this drought I thought I should get my foundation looked at before it gets really bad. Got a few estimates and ended going with Allied Foundation. I little tip folks water around your home at least 2 times a week. It will help prevent foundation problems.
Here is some pics from the work they did on my house.

I had a foundation problem and went with Allied. Seemed to do a good job. All the other guys will price match for anybody but Allied. I thought the price was very reasonable and they did a good job.

So what is the process? It looks like they just force the concrete cylinders down with a huge jack then top it off with the blocks then shim it up?

I have a frame house on block and pad I need to level but I am too old and big to crawl around under the house with a 20 ton jack.

Yep, uncledoug. Pretty much it. Force the concrete cylinders down to the point of refusal and then start jacking on the foundation.

Yes that is what they did. But the final step is whenever they do the final leveling. They do it in sections. The section has to be lifted at the same time there would be 6 guys, one at each pier and all lift at the same time. Those guys knew what they were doing. They did my house and garage in about 3-1/2hrs. They said that they had 3 more houses to do today.

Give them a call they can crawl under your house and level it for you.

Thay said 160 a pier if I booked the job within 30 days 200 a pier if booked later. I got quotes from 160 to 400 a pier. I went with allied not only for the price but they have been in business the longest of all other companys that I got a quot from.
