19 Trout, 3Reds, caught on live bait using a popping cork, maybe could have been better but we were fighting 20 mph wind so that limited our area we could fish in.

Did you use a guide, and where did you stay if you don't mind? I would like to plan a trip to big lake and am looking for all the info I can get. Nice haul Dan!

Dan , yes we used Hackberry Rod n Gun, the place is a first class operation, check out their website , I go there a couple times a year, I have never been disappointed.

I love lake calcasieu.. Best fishing trip of my life was there with my sister in law and father in law... Found a school of big reds back in the reeds and limited out for 3 in 30 minutes!
