What A Bummer !
You ever go to one of your favorite fishing holes and it’s not there any more.
Last Sat. Pam & I went to fish one of our favorite places and it was gone.
We would fish some old pylons around Dollar Point area and now they are just gone.
I can’t imagine Who or Why would remove these pylons.
They have been there as long as I can remember.
If any one know any thing about this please let me know.
Im baffled and bummed ....:scratchhead::scratchhead:

I wouldn't stop fishn it there's quite a bit of shell all round that point, I've never fished those ole pylons but have pulled aahh many aahh good fish from that area crossed the sides of my boat...
Live shrimp under a popping cork is magic over there when the reds, sheepies & puppy drum are there...
If'n I was catchn trout I'd put the bait down & feed'em soft plastics...
I haven't been there in several years but there, Moses lake & round skeeter island has always gave me some very nice filets....
Y'all gonna have me wanting to hit tha salt again, brought back some good memories from down yonder!!!

Also kinda bumbed about the 2 flounder regulation going through the first 2 weeks of Dec.
I'll take the flat fish over all the rest any day.

I miss the actual pier. Still hv a hat I bought from dollar pt pier. The boat ramp there gave you easy access to dollar pt reef. Miss that
