Happy birthday Lou, and thanks for being out there for us as I am sure others appreciate your contributions as much as I do. Take the day off and go fishing or at least do something fun.

Ah, another day older. Wonder how it would be to celebrate another day younger? Lots of time left if that happened. We could look forward to that big fish from the past or that drivers license you wanted so bad. If you trust in God, everyday can be a renewal. So comming forward or repeating the past you can still win ! Here is to you Lou,, Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Lou --- What was the last birthday you had in Calion?

What a deal to graduate in 1959, or in my case to even graduate at all. In 1959 used car lots had an ample supply of 55-56-57 Chebbys, could pick nice ones up reasonable. You could also get a 55-56-57 Ford if you just wanted to look good and not go fast. Never thought the days of beautiful cars would come to a screeching hault 59-60-61 left a lot to be desired then along came the 62-63-64 Impalas and after that it was so-so at best. i guess I'm biased about the looks and performance of the early chebbys.
The music was also great in that era or maybe I'm just an old lost in the fifties guy.

You are right on about the 50's and early early 60's cars.
Now almost every car looks llike the other one.
We had this one family that was well off and their only child was a boy and he was one year older than me. So they bought him a brand spanking new 1957 2 door hardtop Bel Air V-8 chebby and that booger would run. We had lots of fun in that car. We would go to town (ElDorado) and circle the Dairy queen and everybody would come over and look at his 57 chebby.

Everybody wanted to ride in it. He had girls asking him out for dates.

Filling in the rackie board Lou?

L O L The rackie board is still there but NOT used anymore.

My neighbor told me the other day that his black lab that stays in the house was going bonkers about midnite so he got up to see what was going on and saw a Rackie eating his cat food which is on top of his patio table. He went out with his "heat" but it ran over the fence into my yard of course.

So looks like i may have to put couple marsh mellows in a trap and see if i can't find that booger a new zip code.

I think a great zip code would be the Clear Lake area with Meryle or Dutch. Which one of you outdoors men would love to have a beautiful Raccoon? L O L

It would have to compete with the possums we have all over the place down here, Lou.

All my yard squirrels would not let him on the place. I can't believe I used to hunt hours for squirrels (Lou you know where) and now they are knocking on my door.
