How much raid fell on Your Home this week

I went out to check my rain guage again this afternoon as we had a pretty good down pour for about half an hour. Prior to today we had just over 3.5 inches fall here (in Baytown) since Thursday noon. Today, the guage went up another half inch to a total of 4 inches since noon on Thursday when I had emptied it. Prior to that we had 1.5 inches from Monday afternoon to the Thursday noon. I noted some areas had received much more and just curious as to how others fared. Our spinach really liked the rain and cooler weather.

I got 3/4 inch of rain last week here in Kingwood. It was a nice and slow rain. Every drop went into the ground.

Got another 2-inches today

That front moved through the area yesterday and we did not get any rain at all. I saw that it was up to 3 or 4 inches in some areas. It sure cooled the nights down some and for August, I will take that.
