Rented a house this past weekend on west bay with Cliff, my dad and Chad. Friday night under the lights was ridiculous with well over a hundred trout being landed. Average length on these guys was about 14" but we had some go up to 18" or so. Kind of the way fishing the lights seems to go. Saturday was a little slower but we still caught alot of fish. Only person keeping was Chad so we filled up a cooler for him with a few keepers and released all the rest. Didn't take many pics as I was busy catching...

I was looking west on that 1 GB. Did not catch any rises after staying up till 3-4 am fishin.
Certainly was beautiful tho. Crazy how fast that thing disappears once it passes the curve.

Heck, not almost. If you ain't got your camera ready, you likely gonna miss it.

Killa, the arties have always done as well as live bait at this place except this time. They seemed a lil finicky this trip and preferred a live shrimp freelined in or around the light. We still caught plenty on arties but shrimp was the ticket. I only get to visit this house a couple of times a year so if $20 on shrimp can double my catch, you can bet I'll spend it.
