Thanks for asking Gilbert, we are high and dry and can get around Baytown without problems. Some water not to far away but our neighborhood stayed un-flooeded. Only had rain runoff and not to bad.

This fellow got caught in my fence when the water went down. The house is up the hill, high and dry.

Mike... "No problems here, in Florida." .... Hope all goes well for you with Irma.

Yeah ... thank you, Dutch. We're watching it closely.
One good thing to come out of Harvey ... people who usually don't bother stocking up, or getting prepared are already rushing to the stores. Normally, it's the day before, when gas stations and stores are backed up and out of stock.
We're still a full week out. More people will be prepared, if Irma does do damage here.

Thank you, guys. I'll be tucked in, you can bet on that. Wife and I will be watching through the little holes in the window boards, if it gets that close.

I'll take some pictures of the boarded up house, and hopefully of the lack of damage after. I am sure it won't be as bad as Harvey was for you all.

No water in house -- measured 40" of rain over 4 days and nights in Clear Lake area. Been helping two friends -- one in Meyerland area and one near Buffalo Bayou east of the Barker Reservoir -- he still has water. The Bayous should be flushed out.
