First off I've been unable to locate Glen Campbel and I've talked to many reaqders&advisors. The stars haven't lined up just rigth yet.
First half day and my wonderful young friend Colby Brooke met up with us and provided some on hands insight. Like 200# leader and 16 0 circle hooks. One of the photos has the incorrect date.

and we stayed one mo day but Galveston fell victim to rain. We headed in after catching three trout but got soaked as we got close or near the dock. All in all a very good outing and 3 day mini fishing vacation. Shark fishing is not for the faint of heart and will most likely bring on some new sore spots and bruises. I'm back home and not near 100% but in all honesty I may have never been 100% anyhow. My cost is estimated to be about 166 a day for three days. That includes room board, food, gas, bait&tackle, launching&boat storage. I've sure spent more and got less before.

Not bad daily $$ average. When you include the room and board.

What was biggest shark?

Where about in the salty water were y’all? If you can’t disclose info no prob

Biggest was estimated at 100# mo or less, fishing about 3 miles out off the end of the jetties in Galveston. Pull up to the shrimp boats and drift across the wake. Using fresh dead big shad menhaden or whatever its called on 16 0 circle hooks. The leader was 200# test mono about 8' long and tied to a 200 # test swivel. The line on the rods varied from 80# braid to 100# test mono.
No I thought the cost of the trip was very fair, thankful to have a friend with a 22' Bay Stealth and don't mind dragging it down with his new Toyota Tacoma 4x4 . He also had the connection for the 2 br house we stayed in.
