Got a few pics. From a garmin 93sv echomap plus. Some taken from kayak rigged up as portable unit.

Check out the shadows of the tree and the rootball in the first pic.

Second is of pile of tires....I was turning at the time, hence the blur on the left side.

3rd and 4th are of broken tree tops.

Last pic is of 5 PVC trees. Loaded with bluegill. Bigguns.

I did 2d down sonar screenshots side by side of side imaging so you can see what you do/dont miss by having it. All a learning experience.

Anyhow, thought I'd share.

Tight lines yall,
Jeremy

Thanks yall. Trees like that are a dime a dozen. Other then the last pic, it there one of those that yall would stop and fish. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I see lots of structure and no real fish when I went by them.

....and yeah....I tickled that one with the prop :D

For the record...I put in the PVC trees in that last shot. Heres what they look like out of the water.

The re ason I know those are perch 100%....is that is all that is stocked and put in the pond. Only fish in there so far.

Thanks SK. The big gills are my stock for the catfishing trips. Some are definitely crappie sized chunks. There's actually two lay downs in that first pic. The shadow you see is from the second laydown. You can see the light colored trunk if you look closely. I enjoy paddling and scanning. Fun stuff.

Gonna give it a shot in the morning. In the kayak. Probably do more scouting than fishing. Good luck to anyone else headed out this weekend. Gonna be a hot one. Stay hydrated.
