Wooden wood duck call on the lathe

Made a wooden wood duck call for a good friend of mine that took me duck hunting last season. Something about a wood call versus plastic just sounds right. This one was made from bois d arc.

Any duck hunters here? When it's not fishing season of course:p

Woodworking is relaxing...especially on the lathe...until you uncover a split right when you are about done...:hammer:
