April 7&8th weekend has been unanimously been set forth for the next Catfish Show and Rodeo for the Lake Houston Chapter of Fishing Texas , we'll be fishing for Catfishings using Fishingtx Flagging Jugs and Fishing with Freinds like we always do....:welcome:
Once again we'll have to put on a good show for all the folks who did not make the last one and will be planning on coming to this one.:cheers:

Well, living in Florida has one drawback now. Seems I'll have to miss another muster. I get into town on the 10th. I'll get here just in time to see all the pictures from the muster. But that's the only drawback, otherwise, Florida is my idea of paradise. You all have a great time. I'll be fishing at home, getting comparison pictures, maybe.

I put in some vacation time. I cannot miss the muster. I will be up for another Thursday night fishing episode. Randy, CT, Ben, and John kept the last one interesting. If you have never been out at night with these guys. You are really missing out. Randy is a good captain, Ben takes a lot of pictures (when he is awake), CT, John and myself were the deck hands, and the wind was our challenger.
This time I will have some anchored jugs with perch and the big fish will be on? Are you guys up for it again?

I have to work basically one out of three Sundays as it is, so I have to make the other two count.

If I'm still in town I'll be there Saturday and will fish either Friday or Friday night. Not sure though, as the Tennessee River is calling my name.

Barbara and her hubby Bill own and operate BJ's Marina and have all the fishing boating equipment ya need for a perfect fishing weekend , why they even have boats for rent ,think like $10.00 a day. Minnows, frozen bait and Bill is a catterman himself so come out and stay a while they are locate a couple of miles north on FM 2100 .Go to the Wolf rd Huffman Cleveland intersection and take a left on Huffman -Cleveland rd , it turns into Huffman-New Caney rd after you pass Luces Bayou it curves to the right follow it to the second intersection on the left is Magnolia Point, take a left and follow it out till it dead ends into the Marina. there is a small "S" curve and Magnolia turns right just before the curve do not turn on Magnolia , the street turns into Cheatham and Cheatham dead ends into Calvin and that is where you find BJ's.

Crappie Tracker, Randy, saundecw, Bigdave and GentleBen have started the FishingTx Catfish Show and Rodeo. Bigbluecat brought his pit over. Plumbing work will be done in the morning.

I pickup some homemade BBQ sauce from Linda, Horseshoers wife, this evening. Thanks a lot. Looking forward to trying it. I'll be taking it to the muster tomorrow.

Hope to see many FishingTx members sometime this weekend. There will be plenty to eat. BBQ tomorrow and Saturday and fried fish Sunday.

Just couldn't swing leaving right now.
I fished today but only managed a few and nothing nasty big. Took my dog
Boudreaux on his maiden fishin trip and he did good except for when I caught a big bowfin and a pretty big chain pickeral-it was more than he could stand
and he had to dive in after them.:shower:

I dropped off the BBQ sause with John as he will be getting to the BJs around 10 this morning.

Spoke with CT this morning and he said they had a limit including a 39lb'r, which they CPR'd.
