I'm a new member to FishingTx.com but not a new fisherman. I've been fishing for a long long time and love to fish both salt and freshwater. Around the Houston area I particularly enjoy fishing lake Conroe and the Trinity above lake Livingston as well as the bays - Trinity bay, East Bay and West Bay. My son and I would fish more if I had the time but we get out as often as we can. Have had some good catches of catfish and hybrid stripers at Lake Conroe, good catches of catfish at Lake Livingston, White bass in Harmon Creek and good speckled trout out of West Bay and Trinity Bay.

Glad to have you aboard. I wish I could fish more often myself. Lately I have been fishing Lake Conroe and Lake houston using juglines for catfish. I used to fish East Bay regularly but haven't had the opportunity lately. Again welcome and we hope you enjoy the site.
