Luke, welcome aboard! I don’t believe you will find a friendlier group of fishermen or women anywhere. There are so many people with experience on different bodies of water, different species of fish, and different methods of fishing, all willing to help or get help from you. Please let us know what you fish for and where. Also, pictures are always appreciated.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I haven't fished in a few years. Life got in the way. I would like to get back into it some, and involve my grandchildren. I don't have a boat right now. Does anyone have any suggestions for bank fishing locations for crappie and perch?

No where currently. I hope to change that shortly and make time to relax with my grandchildren somewhere with a fishing pole. I'm looking for suggestions for bank fishing with the kids.

He set me free too!!

Welcome to the FishingTx family Luke!! Try fishing under the bridges HWY 90 on the San Jacinto and Trinity rivers. Further north on Lake Houston under the 1960 bridge east and west sides. Try tDeussen park on the southwest end of Lake Houston. Wolf Creek Park on lake Livingston. Good luck and let us know how you do! Don't forget the camera.
