I was stuck in traffic the other day, and had alot of time to think, it wasn't like I had to concentrate on traffic or anything and I got to day-dreaming:

What happened to Timex watch commercials?
"It takes a licking and keeps on ticking"
Shake and Bake Commercial?
"and I helped!!!!"
Remember this..... It's time to make the donuts,,,,,it'st time to make the donuts
Mamma Mia thatsa a spicey meatball!!!!!!
DR Pepper, Ima pepper your a pepper
7-Up the uncola
J W Marks commercials with Paul Bocsh (Houston Wrestlin)
The County Fair at Northline Mall !!!!!!!!
Remeber the gas shortage, even / odd number days to buy gas,,,,,
Hoss Cartwright !!!!!!!!
Cadet Don in channel 13
Dialing for Dollars
The Thunderbird Drive Inn @ Hemstead Rd
Cutter Bills,

Odd number days? That might be better than the artificially inflated prices we pay now. I think I could manage my gas to a fill up every other day.

Randy, that must have been bad traffic! But I did have a KENR sticker on my truck. And John, I had curtains on the camper top. This was so that if the police were behind me they would think I was a clean cut "goat roper" instead of the long-haired hippie I was.

What about Kitterek(sp?) on ch 13
Art Grindle's Dodge
The Airline Drive in theater
The Pig Stand
Sporting Goods Inc.
Glen Slades
And heck I remember when there wasn't a ch 39

Sporting Goods Inc and Glen Slades were good places to get reloading supplies. I guess Carter's did them in. Kitterek (sp?) was an attempt to get KTRK into a name, I think. Was Art Grindle the car dealer who advertised on Saturdays, and they had to push them across in front of the camera because they would not start?

Yes that was Art Grindle. There wasn't fifteen fast food joints at every major intersection back then either.
