Thanks to all, I guess we kinda got on here in a around about way. But never the less I'm glad I found your site.
Here is a pic of Glenn "Brother In Law" and myself from from one of our many trips together. Glenn is the big guy with the dot tail and Im the guy with the snook. If you see us around stop and say "Hey". You might just be on one of our Texas Outdoors Video DVDs.

David, how long is that speck in your avatar? It looks huge. I guess it took that big surface lure?

To answer your question:
The lure is a white Zara Spook. It is really a fresh water bass lure.
I was fishing a tourny and took largest speck last October in Port Mansfield with this fish in the pic. I was fishing with TxBow99 and another Buddy as a team.
The spec blew up on it. It was a real rush! This and the bone color Skidder Walk are my favorite top waters to fish for trout, snook, and reds with. The white Jr. Spook is a favorite also.
