BJ's sound like a good time. I went to Lake Houston a couple of weeks ago. Took out some long time friends and their son. We fishied till noon in between thunder storms. We brought home 28 fish. We had 2 that went near 15 lbs and one that went 25+.

Since BJs is under new ownership we need to ask if we can hold a muster there and how much they will charge. I'm planning on visiting BJs this weekend to inquire. I'll everybody know what I find out.

Junebug, it is a gathering of members, families and friends. We start jugging and cleaning catfish on Thursday through Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon, fresh fried catfish and sides are served. All are welcome to come.

It is being discussed with mods and admin as we speak. I think it will happen soon although BJ's doesn't have the amenities that we need for a comfortable gathering, during the summer months. We are tossing around having another muster at Cagle Campground.

show up, ctach fish ,clean fish , bring the frish fryer and fry fish , o hbrin goi l for the fish fryer there shoukd be a list started before the muster so you'll have all the supplies you need!!

as i am in the middle of purchasing a house and land plus all the moving i hope the muster will be after all that.

boat to catch fish with.......

filet knife to clean them with.......(never cleaned a fish so someone would have to show me how that gets done)

a new gas fryer.(whole setup including bottle and oil) to fry them up in......

and a son who can't wait to "go camping"
