    okay say a guy is gonna drive down there and he and his wife were to take some rods and chairs were is a place to drown some shrimp like texas city dike would be. anything i know theres a park down there but only been down there once so any information would be good figure i will fish a few hours at least make the trip worth taking

    Try "Pleasure Island" off of Hwy 73. Run down to Sabine Pass. Been too many years ago, but those were my first fishing experiences growing up with my Grandfather and Uncles.

    theres a pier at the south end of pleasure island that is suppose to be really good under the lights for specs. also heard its a good place for flounder. there is also Dick dowling park in sabine pass
