I can say that I used to be like Gilbert says, just eat everything and any thing that came my way until I got to be about 65 then a little after that time they ran this little camera that looked like a flexible electrical conduit down my throat to see what was wrong and concluded that I had reflux disease. There was one new ulcer the size of a peanut causing problems and scar tissue all around the sphincter muscle that closes the top of the stomach. The Doctor put me on Prilosec and it did wonders for me as long as I don't forget to take it. It is a good thing to know whether you have reflux disease or problems with your heart. It has been said that a lot of heart attack victims had acid reducing meds in their mouths, thinking they had upset stomach only.................. I still eat anything edible, just take the meds.

But seriously you need to get checked cause like some of the others have said I was going thru the same symptom when I was rushed to the hospital with mild HEART problems I was 30 yrs old so take care of your self

Denial is one of the biggest killers when it comes to heart attack. Also many happen at this time of year because people have to many things going on to be bothered with pain. Ultimately you know your body better than anyone and if you are having chest pain,it can be masked as heart burn, pain down the arm especially the left arm, shortness of breath and sometimes you can get a tooth ache but it is more common in women; then I would recommend that you take a aspirin and get to the closest ER.
