    Cowboys Rod

    Gil asked me to build him a rod to honor his beloved Cowboys. He wanted something that he could fish with and show off. Hopefully he likes it enough to do both. Per his request I am posting it up on here for the other members of this group to see. Thank you Gil is was a fun build and it turned out pretty nice I think

    Great looking rod Jim. Gil is gonna love this one but the results may not be what he wants when it comes to actually catching fish if it performs like the Cowboys. They let the good ones escape them in the end.

    Gilbert - on the handle where it says COWBOYS that is where your hand goes. Make sure you keep your hand over the word Cowboys at all times. Don't want peeps to see that and start giggling and fall out of the boat!! L O L

    Good looking rod katjim. Nice craftsmanship. I think hook spit is in trouble!
