Glad to hear that you had a great day at the pass Gil. I have been putting off going with my brother as he likes to sit in his chair and watch the action. He lost his wife of 51 years last year and he is sorta out of gumption but we talk about going to Rollover. Were you fishing the cut and what baits did you use. IF you want to email the pictures to me I can try to add them for you. PM me if you want my email address.

Snap we fished on the bay side of the bridge, in the midway point, we used dead shrimp, & cut mullet, mullet being the choice of the fish, im going to see about designing my own weights cause the current was very strong going in & out, commercial spider weight took a while to grab, im thinking of making them from flat bar with the clothes hanger wire ,flat plate so when it hits the bottom the won't roll

congrats on catching , it was a beautiful day ! flat bar idea sounds like a winner , lots of surface contact and a low profile .
cant help someone see the light if you cover them with hate

My mother used to bring my brother and I, we would catch a washtub full of croaker . The place was really crowded, what fun time we had.

Thats good catching there Gil. You and Rachel have it going on. And making the flat bar weights is the way to go.

Anything round is going to roll with all that tide / current.

Nice Gil! If those croakers get big enough they are delicious.
Oh, my friend . What time is this . To trade the handshake for the fist
