Thanks vett0. With any luck things will produce in a couple more years. Best time to plant a tree is yesterday. Grafting can speed up the process. Goal is to have at least something producing at different points throughout the year.
Citrus seems to be pretty forgiving. The grafts aren't the prettiest...but they seem to work. Here is a cleft graft, whip and tongue graft, and bud graft. All seem to work about the same. Anything grown from the main stem was just a bud on the graft wood when it started.
