Had a duck slip up and land on the pond by the house. Decided that was gonna be lunch. With a little homegrown asparagus, homemade blackberry wine, some sourdough bread and some peanut butter cookies for dessert. Went straight to the eyelids!

Never had duck cooked like that before, but that looks awesome! I actually thought it was a steak at first glance. I'm not a huge fan of sourdough bread but I'd mow through those cookies in a hurry!
Thanks, yeah the sourdough is super mild. Don't like it super strong either. The duck was just plucked and seasoned up. Seared in skillet, finished in oven. Was super tender and moist.
